On Ubuntu and Tom Clancy's End War…

Ok, so I wasn’t able to post anything about my trip on Bicol but hey, let’s just say that I’m back. Hehe.

I’ve downloaded Ubuntu about 2 days ago if I’m not mistaken and that OS simply kicks ass. :gg: I was amazed at what Ubuntu can do to your system. Well if you’re a Windows fanatic, you’ll definitely get your heads scratching at first, but if you know some stuff, you’ll get a hang of it. I decided not to keep Ubuntu though because I lack the resources. Thanks to my new monitor that was supposed to be used for a new HD. Grr.

Anyway, my officemte Mitch lend me his copy of Tom Clancy’s EndWar. This game’s one of the RTS games I’ve been longing ever since Company of Heroes. Unfortunately, when I open the pack, there was only 1 DVD there and that kept me hanging. >_<

What I like playing this game (hopefully before the week ends) is that you can actually control your units with the power of your voice. Its simply cool isn’t? :) Though I have no idea about the resource gathering and other tactics involved yet. Well, when I get the other DVD I’ll find it out for myself.

Going back to Ubuntu, if you want to see the full potential of your PC, I recommend this OS. It won’t hurt to try. :no1:
