Monday morning. Every butts who work to live hates this day. Anyway, how’s your day during the weekend? Here’s what happened to me 2 days ago…
Saturday morning:
I wasn’t able to go home right away since there are some tasks needed to be done ASAP., no worries though since it was a Saturday, most of the production team are there sitting and playing DOTA. After a while I bunged in at my colleague’s pc and played CoH instead. As soon as we got bored playing, I started to feel heavy and the next thing I knew, I’m having a fever.
One of our managers told us to stop for a while at Marina to get some booze but this time I passed. Why? I’m sick and second, I have no money left. Hehe.
Then I got home, the usual ritual, eat lunch, watch TV with mom (perhaps I got sick since she had a flu last Friday (hope she’ll be fine asap), then went to my room, and turned on the PC. This time I got a little time paying attention on my travian game and some other stuff online. Then all of a sudden…
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz…..
Yeah. At around 1 p.m. I’m sleeping like a pig.
The next thing I knew it was 10 p.m. already, but I decided to get some more sleep. But I noticed my tummy’s need to be filled again. I’m too lazy to cook these days so I settled myself with some juice left in the freezer. Then got online again, checked my travian account and its the Sunday sun starts to shine on our roof…
Sunday…
I checked out my scorpions to see how the guys are going, Elix still has some preys at her enclosure since my mom accidentally dropped like 2 or 3 roaches. Chix on the other hand is there, steady as usual (if you wanna know who’s Elix or chix, type scorpions on the search box on the upper left corner of the site). Then back to the usual stuff. Till its Monday morning and just minutes ago, I recently signed up for Nuffnang. A community site that offers much like Google adsense but the good news is this site can actually support Tagalog language… Now this gives me an idea to setup a Tagalog based blog, lol.
Anyway… I’ve been thinking… Have I been so dragged at my room doing nothing but pc stuff? I really miss going outside… But of course I don’t have enough money to go outside, moreover, I got sick, even my mom’s sick too so I don’t want to give her more trouble of opening the gates for me if I go home late… Err. I guess that’s it for today. Just wanna share my weekend. Happy(?) Monday to all of you guys! 
Its been years since I’ve heard of this text-based game on the net called Travian. Actually I saw this played by my friend Ervin from Gravity for about 3 years ago. I’m not a real fan of text-based games but this game showed me something to stick with. So what’s with Travian?
Travian is much like a strategy game, and as the player, you play as a chief of a small tribe. From a tiny tribe, you begin to prosper by cultivating the resources around your village. And with enough resources, you can now start building some infrastructures in your village.
I used to think that Travian’s all about killing and all. But when I started playing the game (again) 2 days ago, I’ve noticed a counselor that gives you some quests. With each quest comes a reward if you successfully accomplished that quest. Ok, as I was saying… The counselor asked me on which alignment I should take: A peaceful village trading resources with your neighbors or, of course, the traditional hackenslash warlord.
Travian gives you access to 3 main tribes, The Romans, Gauls and Teutons. As a starter, Romans are the best choice (as the game itself says), but of course Gauls and Teutons have some different tactics in their sleeves to show off then the skin meets the metal.
Anyway, this game is not fot the impatient, this game will really get you involved but no worries, you don’t have to deprive yourself from sleep. Even if you logout and some tasks are still in queue, it’ll still work for you while you buzz the zzz’s offline.
