Columbian Army rescues 14 hostages; No shots fired.

The Armed Forces of Columbia rejoice after a successful rescue operation was last Wednesday. The redeemed number of hostages are 14 including a former senator Ingrid Betancourt, who was captured by FARC The Unforgettable Benny Hill trailer

rebels 6 years ago. The former senator said that the mission was a ‘miracle’.

During rescue operations, being in the crossfire is very possible to happen, but the unit that participated in the mission didn’t fire a single shot to rescue the hostages. Instead, they’ve maximized their intelligence resources to outwit the rebels, the poor rebels didn’t know that they’ve handled their hostages to the authorities. Sweet. :D

Columbian President Alvaro Uribe

stated that he will do his part to liberate all hostages in their soil, foreign or not. Now that’s a real good news for the Columbians.

On the other hand, as I’m watching the report @ CNN

, its been reported that the rebels still hold around 700 hostages, and with the mission completed, I wonder how FARC

will respond to this matter.

Kudos to the Columbian Army and its people. I hope something like this happens in our country too. :no1:
