Earth Day Philippines

I guess that’s Earth Day for most of the people here in the Philippines. Since most of the peeps here are pre-occupied at work, vacation, sex, drugs, alcohol, politics, whatever.

Anyway, last night, just before hitting the office, I switched the channel to HBO and watched a documentary entitled: An Inconvenient Truth. The flick focuses on global warming and its effects to our planet and to its inhabitants. I haven’t watched the whole movie yet I’m guilty with what I’m doing in my surroundings. Al Gore also showed some stats and possible results if no action would be taken to prevent this crisis. And believe me, its not good.

Ngayon pa lang problemado na tayo sa init, ano naman pag bumawi ang ulan? :hmm:

See the natural disasters in the past few years? They’re not the usual storms or heat waves, there’s one big factor why these things happen. Its all because of our disrespect and abuse to our planet, such calamities occur. And with that, yay. Good luck.

Going back, I tried asking people I know about Earth Day, here are some responses:

Friend 1: Bday ng Earth ngayon? (It’s Earth’s birthday?)

Friend 2: Ano yun? (What’s that?)

Friend 3: Uminom na lang tayo. (Let’s drink.)

Since I have nothing to do right now, I’ve decided to play along w/ my busted cam and took some pics of Chix (my hetermetrus longimanus) and Elix’s babies… Have a look.

An epic battle between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao took stage last Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. And again, our country’s crime rate was halted by the display of resilience and determination of our modern day hero.

Yeah some are not really convinced about the win, but hey, Did Manny fall in the canvas? In terms of aggression, who raged like a bull and head on to clash? :gg:

Anyway, credit must be given to Juan Manuel Marquez for displaying his tactics, those precision shots gave Manny a hard time, but Marquez already said it. The fight’s not decided in a single round. He made his rounds obvious that he wins. But let’s just do the math and see. :no1:

After taking a shower, I head back at my PC and wondered… “What should I do?”

Then I started checking out sites that I rarely visit, checked out the recent comments, and suddenly I saw the image of Nuffnang on my sidebar.

Hmm, why don’t I pay the site a visit?

Then I started viewing my stats and I found started to place the ads as where should be.

After placing the ads, I didn’t noticed that there’s a lot of bloggers over Asia who’s into Nuffnang, I’ve found articles to read and I guess I’m starting to feel like I’m a nuffnanger. :gg:
