Dir En Grey – Raison D'etre

I always see this band’s track on our loved ‘baul’ here at office. No wonder this band has a lot of songs stored in our local folder, they’re good. Reminds me of L`arc~En~Ciel, but they sound more aggressive. Anyway, here’s my favorite song of Dir En Grey. Enjoy.

Why I <3 Terry Bogard

Yeah from his looks he’s one of the most rugged characters of SNK. Terry Bogard. But the heck I care. He’s perhaps one of coolest characters ever created by SNK. :no1:

When I was a kid, of course I’m one of the hapless addicts of Street Fighter. And I saw this game: Fatal Fury. The heck, Fatal Fury couldn’t match Street Fighter’s graphics and game play, and characters too. To think that you can only use 3 characters and compared that to eight. (Fatal Fury has the Bogard Brothers, Andy and Terry, and Joe Higashi. While Street Fighter has Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun Li, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Zangief and Blanka.) One more thing. If memory serves me right, FF has only 2-4 buttons compared to SF’s 6.

So yeah. I trashed FF. And continued playing Street Fighter. Until The King of Fighters ‘94 came. This time the lousy graphics of Fatal Fury surpassed Street Fighter. And yeah, the first team that I was Terry’s team. And the rest was history. I became one of the KOF Fanatics til now.

Anyway, why the hell I love this guy. (I sound gay right now. :swt: )

By nature, Terry’s just like Ryu, wants to fight stronger opponents. But unlike Ryu, Terry’s got a storyline that made me idolize this guy. A grudge on his Nemesis, Geese Howard, his love life sucks too. His first love, Lily was killed by Geese, then the second one, Sulia Gaudemus was killed by his brother Laucorn. Well at least he has Blue Mary now. :no1: . He even adopted Geese’s son, Rock Howard who I like too, since his moves are a hybrid of his father and Terry. But of all his fights, I love the fight between him and Wolfgang Krauser, Geese’s step brother. :no1:

One more thing I like Terry’s his moves. So complex yet so simple. Wanna see one?
